Ambassador Signs South Africa’s Book of Condolence
Ghana’s Ambassador to the U.S., His Excellency Daniel Ohene Agyekum on Friday, December 12, 2013 was among the dignitaries who signed the book of condolence on behalf of the government and people of Ghana at the South African Embassy in honor of former President, Mr. Nelson Mandela whose death occurred on December 5, 2013. He was 95 years old.
Ambassador Ohene Agyekum was met and greeted by South Africa’s Ambassador, His Excellency Ebrahim Rasool. The two men exchanged greetings and reminisced about the loss of one of Africa’s greatest leaders. His Excellency then extended heartfelt condolence from the government and people of Ghana and pledged renewed support and continued friendship with the government and people of South Africa.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Mrs. Amma Twum-Amoah a senior officer at the Embassy of Ghana
