The Black Stars, the Ghanaian National Team, will be arriving in Florida, USA on June 1, 2014 on their way to Brazil, where they are expected to participate in the forthcoming FIFA World Cup tournament in June.

The Black Stars are billed on June 9, 2014 to play a FIFA sponsored friendly International match against South Korea as part of their preparation towards the World Cup tournament.

On June 7, 2014 while still in Florida, the Black Stars will have a soccer Clinic/picnic at the Florida International University Stadium with special performance by Shatta Wale, Castro, Sarkodie and Fuse to accord the Ghanaian Community in Florida the opportunity to meet the players.

The team will depart Florida after the friendly international match against South Korea for Washington DC, where they will have a press conference on June 10, 2014 at the Ghana Embassy at 2.00 pm.

The International Youth and Sports Organization (IYOS) in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy will host the Black Stars to a fund raising dinner after the press conference to again give the Ghana Community in Washington DC the opportunity to also meet the players.
