GHANA SIGNS BOOK OF CONDOLENCE FOR KING ABUDLLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ


 Ghana joined throngs of U.S. officials and members of the Diplomatic Community at the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Washington DC, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 to offer their sympathies and sign the Book of Condolence for King Abudllah bin Abdulaziz, whose death occurred on January 23, 2015.

The Minister/Head of Chancery of the Ghana Embassy, Mrs. Amma A. Twum Amoah signed on behalf of the President, His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, the government and people of Ghana.

Abudllah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ascended the throne as King on August 1st, 2005 after the death of his half-brother, King Fahd.

He was also the custodian of the two Holy Mosques until his death earlier this year.

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz was 90 years old.
