President Mahama Makes Changes At NHIA, NPRA & NIA
The Chief Executives of the National Health Insurance Authourity (NHIA), National Pensions Regulatory Authourity (NPRA) and the National Identification Authourity (NIA) have all been relieved of their positions.
President John Mahama announced during a stakeholders forum on the Single Spine in Koforidua, recently that government was going to remove non-performing Public officials and reshuffle others where need be.
According to Radio Ghana sources, the Chief Executive of the NHIA Sylvester Mensah has been replaced with his Deputy Nathaniel Otu.
Josiah Cobbah of the National Identification Authority is replaced with Kwame Griffiths whiles a former member of the Brazil Commission of Enquiry, Mr. Kofi Anokye Owusu Darko, takes over from Laud Senanu at the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.
They all will be acting in their positions.
Other changes are: the current head of the Youth Enterprise Authority (YEA) Kobby Acheampong has replaced Kofi Attoh as head of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC).
Former National Service Secretariat (NSS) boss, Vincent Kuagbenu takes over from Kobby Acheampong at the YEA, formerly the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA). – GBC
