KNUST, Chinese agree to improve medical practice


The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Dalian Medical University (DMU) in China, have signed a partnership agreement to improve the medical field in Ghana.

According to Prof. Huang Min, a Professor of Microbiology, the Dalian Medical University, which is famous for international education in 72 countries, has 50 Ghanaian students undertaking courses in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Clinical Medicine.

 Professor William Otoo Ellis, the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, said at the signing ceremony in Kumasi that, even though KNUST is science and technology oriented, it has a strong stance in the humanities as well.

 Prof. Ellis signed for KNUST whilst Prof. Huang initialed for DMU.
