T’Poly collaborates with UK University
Prof. Daniel Nyarko, the Rector of Takoradi Polytechnic, has announced that the Polytechnic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, to begin a Masters programme in Electrical Engineering.
According to the Rector, the course, which is currently being run, jointly by the Polytechnic and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Ghana, is designed to equip professionals in the supply chain industry with the requisite skills.
Prof Nyarko made this known at Takoradi, in the Western Region at an orientation programme for the first batch of 30 students admitted for the International Professional Certificate in Logistics and Transport programme.
Mr. Jacob Adoko, the Vice President of CILT, on his part said the institute has always endeavor to promote the study and practice of logistics and transport, to enhance the efficient handling of packages and also making sure that they arrive at their destination safely.
