Assembly complex for UDS-Navrongo

President John Evans Atta Mills has cut sod for the commencement of work on a GH¢3 million auditorium for the University for Development Studies (UDS) Navrongo campus, rehabilitation of the Vea Water Treatment Plant and the expansion of Vea Dam wall .


He pointed out that, academic excellence and good attitude are very important basics for diligent life and success

 President Mills made this pronouncement whilst addressing staff and students of the university and advised students to blend their pursuit of academic excellence with good conduct and character.

 According to him, the water treatment plant estimated to cost $6.5 million, which will improve the capacity of the facility in the provision of potable water for the people of Bongo and Bolgatanga, is expected to be completed within three years.

 Prof. Haruna Yakubu, the Vice-Chancellor of the UDS, on his part, praised the President for making time to visit the campus.
