Government to support Goldfields International
H.E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the Vice-President has pledged government’s support for Goldfields International to enable the company create more jobs for the country’s youth.
He lauded government’s partnership with Goldfields and acknowledged the efforts of the company in building local capacity through technology transfer and technical know-how to the indigenous people.
The Veep made this known in Accra, when a three-member delegation from Goldfields International paid a courtesy call on him at the Castle, Osu.
He also praised Goldfields International for the support it has been offering the senior national team, the Black Stars, over the years, and urged them to continue with the good gesture.
The delegation was led by Dr. Mamphela Ramphele, Chairperson of Goldfields International, Mr. Nick Holland, Chief Executive Officer of Gold fields International and Mr. Peter Turner, the Managing Director of Goldfields Ghana Limited.
